You are so right about the program at Silverleaf. I am sorry you did not know about them before you bought second hand. We bought new, direct from them and still got screwed! We went for the sales pitch and decided against the property because my husband and I camp for our relaxation and vacation time, our children however like the condo type vacationing and the fact that they could go to other resorts in the program. The salesperson then so cleverly informed us that camping was permitted as on the annuinities (ha) and that our children could use the condo at any time during our bonus time and for our vacation week. Then we ask about the sign in policy, and we were told no we could not have other people sign in EXCEPT our children, they are immediate family you know. Well, that is not true. We can only check them in. This was all in November, of course, camping is not available at that time but we could wait, the campground are is beautiful and we were excited about the security and other available things the problem with checking the kids in could be solved later by adding them to the deed (for an additional cost of course). Well, spring came and camping was not available because so many people have had reservations for years, why? Oh because we bought an old camping club and they have first priority. Did we forget to tell you? So our experience with the Silverleaf Resort representatives have been horrible as well. In talking to so many people in our area we are finding the same has happened to more that not. The sales people are slick and the restrictions are unbelievable. I guess that is why they keep selling, no one is able to use the property as it was intended for so they can over sell the units as they see fit.

Unhappy Silverleaf Owner,
Melissa
