History

Delta Omega Sigma was created in November 1930 at Arkansas State University. In the fall of 1945 the Tau chapter at New Jersey Institute of Technology was formed, becoming just the third Greek organization recognized by NJIT.

Symbolism

Our colors are Cardinal and Black and our symbol is a red flaming torch, which was eventually adopted by Arkansas State University as the school logo.

Tradition

We have a proud history and tradition of service to our community.

Duty: We place a high priority on duty, to God, to country, to family, and to self.

Service: All undergraduate members, pledges and initate brothers alike, are required to spend 4 hours a month in service to the community. This often takes the form of half day brotherhood events in which the entire chapter pitches in toward a common goal, serving the community and building brotherhood at the same time.

RUSH

We feel this is one of the finest fraternites anywhere in the Greek system, but we can't do it without you.
